The living room offers plenty of seating and the open floor plan means you are always a part of the fun. Big views of the Black Mountains and Mount Mitchell are the hallmark of this room. the gas log stove makes it extra cozy!

Filled with ceramics from local artists, it is evident that the house is just 4 minutes from Penland School of Crafts.

The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, cooking and bakeware, small appliances (Instant Pot, Blender, Standmixer, Stick Blender, Waffle Maker, and more!), and handmade pottery for serving.

Conley House has a robust coffee station with burr style coffee grinder, fresh medium roast Fari trade coffee beans, French press, pour over, moka pot, milk frother, and an on demand hot water dispenser that is built into the kitchen sink. We also offer an assortment of teas.

This ensuite bath has a large jetted tub, walk-in shower, views of the shade garden, TV, make-up mirror, and a sink made by Cynthia Bringle.

One of two master suites, this one features a king bed, seating area, queen foldout couch, turntable with records, HDTV, and beautiful views of Mount Mitchell and the Black Mountains.

The second en suite bath has a shower/tub combo, makeup mirror, and a sink by Cynthia Bringle.

The office is spacious and offers a queen-size bed, sofa, game table, ceiling fan, heat & air, light blocking curtains, desk, office chair, iMac computer, and laser printer.

The office/3rd bedroom is located above the studio across the driveway from the main cabin. It is perfect for those wanting a little extra privacy or wanting to get away to get a little work done.

The office has a desk, chair, light, air Laser printer, and an iMac computer that can be used with a guest login or as a high-resolution monitor.

The fire pot was made by artist/blacksmith Sven Bower.
